Abstract: Designed for an introductory physics course for pre-med/pre-health students, this first chapter on 1D motion begins with standard physics examples (i.e. people walking, balls, planes, etc.) combined with biomedical expert videos to scaffold students' foundational physics learning. Suggestions for classroom use are included in the INTRODUCTION document, & instructors are encouraged to adapt as needed to best fit institution/course needs.
