Abstract: This resource focuses on the exponential behavior of RC circuits to help students connect this function to meaning, and not see the function merely as a way to get a number. The exponential function comes into play in biology in reaction rates, metabolic rates, cooling, filtration rates, and RC circuits, which are used to model nerve signal propagation.
