Abstract: NEXUS Physics is an IPLS course designed to articulate with a biology major. It assumes some exposure to calculus, biology, and chemistry. It focuses on modeling and use of math in science and includes discussions of relevant biological topics such as diffusion, fluid flow. It includes a treatment chemical energy and the chemical bond, as well as careful discussions of entropy, thermodynamic fluctuations, and free energy.
