Highlights: an intro physics text designed for life-science students focusing on the skills they need to develop for research or healthcare careers
Abstract: This is the second half of a 2-semester algebra-based physics course for life-science students. We include physics topics of particular value for LS students, including entropy, free-energy, and the electrical concepts needed for neural modeling. We organized the course to help students learn to blend physics concepts with mathematical representations, build physical intuition, and learn to think with math. These are PDFs and Word versions of an online commercial text in Top Hat that includes videos, simulations, autograded problems, and links to other pages and the web. Royalties go to the AAPT to support the Living Physics Portal.
Resource Types: Instructor supplement, Restricted access, Student reading
