Highlights: Recommendations and guidelines from the 2014 NSF-supported IPLS Conference, attended by more than 150 faculty members
Abstract: The Conference on Introductory Physics for the Life Sciences (IPLS), hosted by the American Association of Physics Teachers with support from the National Science Foundation, was a forum to nurture and expand the IPLS community, a network of faculty and administrators working to enhance IPLS curricula. This report summarizes the discussions and recommendations from that conference and provides an overview of the challenges of teaching effective IPLS courses. It also contains a list of IPLS resources and a summary of results from the post-conference participant survey.
