Highlights: Prediction worksheets for 2D graphs and diagrams of human movements with projectile components
Abstract: These prediction worksheets for human projectile motion, are part of the Biomechanics 2D Motion with 2D Forces submodule, which build on the Biomechanics 1D submodules. In both of these submodules, students model and analyze complex real human motion as a sequence of simple motion and force segments, with the whole person modeled as a point object. Lab activities involve students taking, interpreting, and analyzing data on their own movement. The 2D prediction sheets prepare students to interpret real data, which is messy. In the process, they can solidify understanding of kinematic and force-motion relationships.
