Highlights: an intro physics text designed for life-science students focusing on the skills they need to develop for research or healthcare careers
Abstract: Living Physics is the textbook for a 2-semester algebra-based physics course designed for life-science students, based on the NEXUS Physics wikibook. We include physics topics of particular value for life-science students. We organized the course to help students learn to blend physics concepts with mathematical representations, build physical intuition, and learn to think with math. These are PDFs and Word versions of an online commercial text in Top Hat that includes videos, simulations, autograded problems, and links to other pages and the web. Royalties go to the AAPT to support the Living Physics Portal.
